The Center for Chemotherapy of Malignant Tumors (CCMT) has been operational since March 2020. Every year, more than 10,000 patients at JSC “KazIOR” receive antitumor drug therapy for solid tumors and lymphoproliferative diseases, of whom over 1,500 patients undergo this type of conservative treatment in the 24/7 Chemotherapy Center for advanced forms of malignant neoplasms of various localizations, achieving favorable treatment outcomes.
The Chemotherapy Center is staffed by specialists with extensive clinical experience in oncology, who also engage in research activities. The department’s personnel continuously enhance their knowledge and practical skills through international internships and training programs at leading clinics in the USA and Europe, and actively participate in international scientific symposia and congresses. The Center’s nursing and junior medical staff possess all the necessary skills to care for patients undergoing prolonged antitumor therapy.
In addition, the Chemotherapy Center serves as a clinical base for conducting a number of international and domestic clinical studies on the efficacy and safety of new pharmaceutical drugs.
