Radiation Oncology Center with Day Hospital is a modern specialized unit providing high-tech treatment for patients with oncological diseases using advanced radiation therapy methods.
The primary mission of the center is to deliver high-quality, effective, and safe radiation therapy both in a day hospital setting and on a 24/7 basis for patients requiring inpatient monitoring.
The center employs the most advanced technologies and diagnostic methods, enabling personalized treatment and achieving high clinical outcomes. The techniques used include: conformal radiation therapy (CRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), VMAT (volumetric modulated arc therapy), 3D brachytherapy, superficial radiation therapy (SRT) for treating skin lesions, as well as adaptive radiation therapy (ART), which accounts for anatomical, physiological, and technical changes during the course of treatment.
Special attention is given to hypofractionation and ultra-hypofractionation techniques, which allow for a shorter treatment course for breast cancer and other tumor sites without compromising therapeutic effectiveness. The number of treatment fractions can be reduced to 5–15. For patients post-mastectomy, a unique irradiation technique is employed that takes into account individual anatomical features as well as the presence of implants or tissue expanders. Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) radiation therapy is also used for breast treatment, reducing radiation exposure to the heart and lungs, thereby enhancing both safety and treatment tolerability.
Pre-radiation preparation is conducted using advanced equipment that allows precise planning and control of the radiation dose while minimizing exposure to healthy tissues. This ensures a high level of safety and maximizes treatment effectiveness.
The center actively collaborates with international medical and scientific institutions in Spain, France, Japan, and Russia, enabling the implementation of global standards and innovations in clinical practice. The department is staffed by highly qualified physicians with extensive experience, ready to provide individualized care for each patient. Special attention is given not only to medical treatment but also to psychological support throughout the course of therapy.
